The lake has crystal clear water and it is surrounded by mountains not too far from the Austrian border.
As you can see in the photos below, thees two boathouses of the Alps just beg you to take a photo of them, interestingly enough they look totally different when different photographers take pictures with different cameras and in different seasons (or time of day).
